About
Sabro was developed by the Hop Breeding Company and released in 2018. Its pedigree is a cross pollination of a female neomexicanus hop, the wild New Mexico subspecies, which puts it outside the lineages behind most US aroma varieties. The fruit is tangerine, coconut, tropical and stone fruit, with a pronounced cream character and secondary vanilla, cedar, dill and mint. The coconut and stone fruit are carried by lactones. Strongly expressive in the whirlpool and dry hop, and the woody and mint notes come forward as its share of the blend rises.
