About

Made from a blend of winter and spring barley with a higher nitrogen content, its germination and kilning produce a sweeter, malty character and a golden-to-orange colour slightly darker than Ale Malt, with hints of toast and biscuit. Its light colour makes it very versatile alongside other malts; Gladfield note it combines especially well with their Gladiator and Toffee malts to give a big white head and golden colour for a drinkable session beer.
